I am pure Cornish --I was born in
Redruth maternity hospital and my home was in Gorran
Churchtown. Unfortunately I left Cornwall when I was 6
weeks old and grew up in Letchworth in Hertfordshire. My
Celtic roots are well embedded in me and I love pasties
(proper ones!) and saffron cake. My Dad made sure that I
was brought up loving and knowing all things Cornish! I come from a long line of plain hardworking farm labourers, at least as far as I can see. No famous people in my family tree! I live in Watford, UK & work as a teacher, I have three children & a golden retriever. I also have a second home in Mousehole & know quite a bit about the area- I have the deeds to my home there dating back to 1775. The cottage is available for holidays, click here for details. |
