My name is Gay Treglown Knutson and
I live on Treveth an Dowrlam, Homestead of the Waterfall.
The property is so named as it lies in the foothills of
the Olympic Mountains and has a magical 80 foot waterfall
which flows into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. I live here
with my dogs,
sheep, and llamas. My sons, Tristan and Garth are off to
college. I enjoy world travel and have been wandering about since 1973, staying in yurts, yogwans, pilgrim tents, and bungalows. Working for an international adoption agency keeps me busy as does playing cello in a regional orchestra. My father's ancestors were all Cornish miners and I am the first generation out of the mines. They immigrated to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Colorado and ended up in Butte, following the lure of copper, lead, gold, and silver. My newest passion is sailing and I've been crewing on a 37 foot racer and helping out with a high school sailing team which uses Vanguard 15's. Through the Internet, I've found some sailing schools in Cornwall. Seriously thinking about trying one. Have any of you done this? Would love to hear from you. |
