My name is Loretta and I am
researching my Cornish ancestors. Their names were George
Silvanus BUDGE and his wife, Elizabeth TRESTAIN. They
came to Australia in 1854. Elizabeth was from St. Veep.
and she was born in 1831 and died in Australia in 1912.
George was born in 1824 at Callington in Cornwall and
they were married at St. Paul's, Devonport in Devon.
George died on 30th May, 1903 at Northcote in Victoria
Australia. They had four sons and four daughters. Both my great great
grandparents had siblings in Cornwall and they were the
only ones to migrate to Australia. I hope to be able to
contact some of the descendants in Cornwall.
Possibly
there exists information regarding
land/wills/descendants/cemeteries/censuses etc. Would be
grateful for any information.
