Listening to my
Grandfather; Richard Henry MANN born 1896 Newlyn, Cornwall about the
story
of his Vine Cottage on
Trewarventha Street I had to make my trip over to find why he
left in
1910 after riding
steeple chases over the Ding Dong Mine near Zennor, New Mill.
My job now consists of
Home Health Care for the Elderly with Visiting Angels. After
spending
ten years in the gaming
business (horse track), and 23 years in the Entertainment field
I now
find a slower pace with
the Seniors of Akron, Ohio
where over 300 Cornish men & women from
the Penzance area landed during the 1910 time period to work in the major tire factories. Please click here to see a partial list.
May I offer my home to
anyone from Penzance area who would like to have a stop over
in tours of
the United
States......would love to have you.
