I am also a Councillor on the local Council & the secretary for the Carnarvon Genealogy Club, a small band of 25 hardworking people who fundraise by catering & cleaning like mad in order to purchase the wonderful assets that the club has been able to acquire.

We both have Cornish ancestors, but I am the genealogist really, but give Mike his due he puts up with a lot of tramping around graveyards when we go abroad, as long as we find a nice pub or bar for lunch. I started this hobby to combat boredom 12 years ago after the children had flown the nest, well the boredom vanished - what a hobby - I just love it.
