Hi my
name is Pauline Toye (also known as Pol or Polly) and I have the
genealogy bug which is my main interest, but I also love gardening -
and I am trying to learn more about web design.
I can
trace my ancestors to a small hamlet called Polladras in Breage when
the name was then TOY the family worked their own shaft at Polrose
mine until it closed. I have gathered much info on this area but am
keen to learn more....

Breage my family moved to Whitchurch Tavistock about 1845 when
the 'e' was added to the name. Some of the family came to Yorkshire
about 1946 which is where I now live.
