My name is Sarah Melton, nee Couch (age 32). I grew up in Southampton but my ancestry is Cornish with a bit of Devonshire thrown in for good measure. I currently live in Tintagel, Cornwall (back to my roots you might say) my husband works as a computer engineer and I look after the house and my two black labradors: Poppy (2) and Bramble (2months!). We have become, in the last two years or so, very much part of our local community and have been well received here. It is like stepping back in time to a place where people and not possessions are important. I have relatives in Victoria, Australia and Canada as far as I am currently aware but am sure there a plenty more cousins out there. I always loved history at school but since finding a letter and a long lost family treasure have acquired the family history bug. I'm currently unwell and don't travel very far but I would be delighted to hear from anyone who may have had connections with Tintagel, Camelford, Boscastle, Bossiney, Delabole and the like. The picture (click here) shows me (left) my mother, father, brother and one dog in my garden last summer.
